Pollard, 20, is more of a running first-five than Steyn and led the Junior Springboks to second place in the recent junior world championships in New Zealand. This will be Pollard's fourth Test match and the biggest challenge of his fledgling career. There are no other changes to the 23. It will be captain Jean de Villiers' 100th Test.
